Soccer Ball

Dylan's been having a great time with the soccer ball. Last weekend we went to Lake Calhoun and Dylan had more fun playing with the ball than playing at the park. Also notice what he's eating...a plain slice of wheat bread. It's his favorite snack :-)

The Swingset

On weekends we are always the first ones at the park. It's great because we have the whole place to ourselves...although I wouldn't complain if Dylan decided to sleep in later.

Dylan is 20 months old

Dylan was 20 months old on June 2nd. He's been growing up so fast. He uses words now, usually mommy and daddy are the only people who can tell what he is saying, but he can say about 25 words. He's been a very picky eater lately, but oddly he loves plain wheat bread. We try to put peanut butter, jelly, cheese, etc. but most of the time he just wants it plain and sits to eat the whole slice happily. He loves to ride his little bike with training wheels. He can barely touch the peddles, but he steers the bike really well, we just have to give him a little push and he does the rest. He loves to work in the garage with his daddy, read books, play with matchbox cars, and he loves loves loves motorcycles just like his dad. He gets so excited when he sees one on the road. He is keeping us very busy as he loves to be outside and on the go most of the time. He goes to sleep around 8-8:30pm and wakes up by 6:30am. When he gets up in the morning he always has to bring his blankie and stuffed animals with him, it's so cute. He's usually so sweet in the morning and he loves to watch Elmo, which helps for the first half hour so mom can make coffee and wake up. Luckily, he takes a 2 hour nap most days, which is very nice. We are having so much fun with him and we can't wait to see what he learns to do next.

Tractor

Tractor from Papa Riley. It's just like one that Auntie Laura used to have when she was little. It's for Andy, but he's been sharing with Dylan and they both have fun riding on it. Dylan can even say tractor but it sounds more like "ta - tr".
