We had classical music playing after dinner one night and Dylan wanted to show us what a good conductor he is.

Eventful Weekend
We had a GREAT weekend! On Saturday we had 18 month pictures taken of Dylan. We weren't sure how he was going to react, because he's been really shy with strangers lately, but once he got over clinging to us, the amazingly patiant photographer got some adorable pictures. After pictures we had a family breakfast at Perkins with Laura, Chris, Andy & Miles. We are quite the crew. It was Dylan's naptime so he slept in Ryan's arms the whole time. For our next adventure cousin Lauren met us at the park and then helped us make Easter Eggs and cupcakes. Dylan had a blast frosting the cupcakes so I let him have at it. Later that day Dylan surprised us by pulling his pants down and sitting on a potty chair I bought to start preparing him to toilet train. Up until now he hasn't shown any interest and hasn't seemed the least bit disturded sitting in a poopy diaper. Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised. On Sunday afternoon we went to the park with Chris and Andy. Dylan had fun chasing the guys around with the soccor ball. As of Sunday night we are also on day three of life without a pacifier! On Friday we decided to cut out the pacifier cold turkey and as of Sunday night the Riley household is completely pacifier free!!!! He cried for 15 minutes on and off Fri. and Sat. night and a little during naptime today but tonight Dylan went to bed without a single tear or even a complaint. We are thrilled and can't wait to see what exciting new surprises are in store for April!
