Dylan's BIG weekend

Dylan had a big weekend, he drank from his sippy cup - yes he's been VERY stubborn about actually drinking from his sippy, but we are getting there. Dylan also stood a handful of times

Cousin Andy offered to let Dylan use his firetruck chair that he got from Grandma & Papa Riley. He loves it!!

We are very fortunate to live next door to Laura, Andy, & Chris and Dylan lights up whenever he sees them. The other night we were looking at Dylan's picture album and he got soo excited when he saw Auntie Laura and Cousin Andy. He's already said Andy twice and now he's practicing his L's.

Caught in the Rain

Dylan and Daddy got caught in the rain but Dylan enjoyed every minute of it even his wet clothes and hair.

Dylan has an adorably scary new smile scrunching his face and showing all of his teeth. Sometimes it's hard to tell it's a smile but he's pretty impressed with his new found talent & it sure keeps us laughing :)

This morning Dylan clapped his hands for the first time! He was sitting at the bottom of the stairs and started clapping and smiling. Then when daddy got up he clapped for him too.

Attack of the Pink Eye

We just found out today that Dylan has pinkeye! He was itching his eye yesterday and today it is gross and goopy. It got progressively worse all day until we got some antibiotics.
He was really cute tonight even though he is sick. He sat and read books and played with us. Laura and I also heard him say "Andy" after Laura called Andy's name. It was adorable!

Play date with Henry

We had a fun time playing with Henry and his mom Alanna at Lake Calhoun. Henry is 5 months old and absolutely adorable. He only got upset when Dylan cried and when Dylan kissed his mom, otherwise he was completely happy and sweet.

Today is Dylan's 11 month bday

Dylan has grown up so fast, it feels like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital and yet it also seems like a lifetime ago that we were waking up every 2 hours for feedings and couldn't fathom ever being able to catch up with life.
Now Dylan is sleeping 11 hours (most nights), has 4 teeth and two more on the way, babbles dadadadadad all the time (much to Ryan's delight), and loves to get into EVERYTHING :)
We are truly having a blast with him.
